Sweet Trends: Analyzing Popular Halloween Candy Choices using Power BI

We leveraged Power BI to get insights into the candy market during the Trick-or-Treat season, taking a look at factors such as the costs, sugar content and popularity of top sweetmeats.

The Power BI report dives deep into the datasets on the most consumed chocolate during the week leading up to Halloween, to identify the varieties bought the most often. The analysis was run across candy offerings from a range of 85 different companies, and generated a price comparison amongst the top 10 sweets. The report also computes the sugar content of the most loved sweets, while highlighting those with very high sugar content. The dashboard further generates the market share of each competitor.

Considering the playful Halloween theme of the dashboard, colorful graphical indicators and emojis were included to create a fun and appealing interface.
